• Access restriction requirements.
• Forms that:
  • Require confidentiality and/or encryption.
  • Need additional functionality.
  • Use PonyExpress, an old form-processing technology.
  • Currently function improperly or not at all.
• Inconsistent navigation. IS&T will need to analyze your site to recommend new information architecture and organization.
• Embedded PHP, server side includes, or other advanced code.
• Integration with other applications.
• New WordPress functionality that needs a new plugin or an adaptation of an existing plugin.
• Additional cleanup:
  • Outdated or incompatible markup: font tags, bold tags instead of heading tags, invalid HTML, and styles that are not included in WordPress themes.
  • Duplicated pages and content.
  • Uncertainty about what content should be moved to WordPress and what should be discarded.
  • News stored in static pages that needs to be manually divided into WordPress news posts.
  • Manual migration. If there is no way to separate content from navigation or design, IS&T will have to move content without the help of automated tools.
