The law library offers a variety of services to law faculty research assistants designed to extend privileges that are not normally available to students.
The library maintains a core collection of materials in the reserve areas behind the Fineman Circulation desk, including hornbooks, major treatises, study aids, newspapers, and other frequently used items.
Law faculty teaching courses may add any additional items to reserve they feel would be of interest to students in their classes.
The Law Library is pleased to provide document delivery services to law faculty. To request document delivery, please call the Circulation Supervisor, at x3-8879 or lawlibraries@bu-law.libanswers.com.
In consultation with faculty, the library creates article-level links to publications available on SSRN, Lexis and Westlaw, HeinOnline, and the Scholarly Commons.
The law library is always happy to receive suggestions from faculty for additions to the law library collections.
The library produces and subscribes to online publications to inform faculty of new books, articles, and symposium issues.
