The CAS Writing Program communications interns work with a small team of Writing Program faculty and staff to create content for the Writing Programs social media accounts and other graphic design projects like event posters and informational signs. They also have a role in generating content for digital newsletters, website features, and other communications about the Writing Program to reach various audiences across the university.

Strong candidates for this position will be clear communicators and have experience with graphic design tools, particularly Canva and the Adobe Creative suite. They must also be able to work independently, collaborate effectively with others, meet deadlines reliably, and respond efficiently to work-related messages. Students must have completed at least one, and ideally two, years of coursework at BU to apply.

The Writing Program seeks to hire students who reflect the larger diversity of BU’s student population. We are particularly eager for BIPOC, multilingual, international, and first-generation students to apply, as well as students with other underrepresented or marginalized identities.

There are currently no open communications interns positions. Check back for more information at the start of the Fall 2024 semester!
